Members of the Laker Tennis team competed in the regional individual competitions yesterday.
On the boys side, the duo of Carson Buras and Ethan Coe won 2 matches and advanced to the quarterfinals on Wednesday. The duo of Owen Buras and Ben Brown received a bye in the first round and won in the second round to advance to the quarterfinals as well.
On the girls side, Laila Hammond advanced to the second round in individual competition before being defeated. In doubles, Anna Kimbrell and Dori Ballou advanced to the second round before being defeated.
Team regionals will take place Saturday.
