The Laker Baseball team dropped a district game to Monroe County last night by a score of 3-2.
The Lakers trailed 3-1 headed into the final frame. The Lakers scored one run in the bottom of the 7th and had the bases loaded, but weren’t able to bring across the tying run.
Riley Taylor led the Lakers with two hits, and Brody Terry added another. Tanner Stringer and Ben Kemp each drove in a run for the Lakers.
The Lakers and Falcons will face off again today, with this one taking place in Tompkinsville. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30.
