A vehicle struck a cow on Hales Highway last night, but the occupants of the vehicle were able to escape the collision uninjured.
The collision occurred about half-a-mile from Lakewood Country Club a little after 7:30 last night. There were reportedly three occupants in the vehicle, but all avoided serious injury.
Just before the collision, reports of a cow in the roadway were reported to Russell County Dispatch.
Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Stone Bolin worked the scene for the sheriff’s office.
