Two Indiana men arrested after attempted break-in at Columbia business

Two Indiana men were arrested after reportedly attempting to break in to a business in Columbia.

Columbia Police Chief Evan Burton told WJRS News officers were called out just after 1:45 Sunday morning to a report of two suspects attempting to break in to the business.

48-year-old Marcus D. Halliburton of Indianapolis and 57-year-old Kenneth H. Palmer III of Catherwood, Indiana, were arrested and charged with burglary first degree, criminal mischief first degree, attempted theft of an automobile, possession of marijuana, possession of burglary tools, and criminal trespassing – third degree.

Both men were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
