A Russell Springs man pleaded guilty to charges including unlawful imprisonment and strangulation in Russell Circuit Court.
42-year-old Eugenio Huete-Rojas entered a guilty plea on the charges earlier this month.
Under the plea agreement, the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office is recommending a 5 year sentence for Rojas on each of the charges to run consecutive for 10 years to serve.
Rojas was also facing a charge of rape – first degree domestic violence, but that charge was dismissed.
Rojas will appear in Russell Circuit Court for formal sentencing on January 13.
