The upcoming Christmas on the Square event will be the final Bicentennial event of the year.
The Russell County Bicentennial Committee has been involved with hosting and partnering in pre-existing events through the year to celebrate Russell County’s 200th birthday.
Danielle Wilson with the Bicentennial Committee was recently a guest on Community Conversation on WJRS and spoke about the success of the Bicentennial events and previewed Christmas on the Square.
Christmas on the Square will take place this coming Saturday on the square in Jamestown, with opening ceremonies getting underway at 4 p.m.
