A Texas man was arrested locally on drug charges over the weekend.
43-year-old Carlos Flores Antunes of Austin, Texas, was arrested by Kentucky State Police and charged with trafficking in cocaine, resisting arrest, giving an officer false identifying information, and careless driving, among other traffic violations.
Antunes was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 4:15 Saturday morning.
