School district seeking input on 26-27 school calendar

The Russell County School District is seeking input on the 2026-2027 school calendar.

Superintendent Michael Ford told WJRS News a survey will be going out to parents and school staff in the coming days about the calendar, and gave some details about plans for next year’s calendar.

The calendar will have a first reading by the school board next month.
