Russell Springs woman arrested on drug charges

A Russell Springs woman was arrested on drug charges early yesterday morning.

40-year-old Virginia New was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a legend drug.

New was arrested by Deputy Stone Bolin with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. She was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 1:00 yesterday morning.
