Earlier this week on local news, students from the Russell County NJROTC program spoke about what the program means to them.
Chief Dennis Kiser with the high school’s NJROTC program was a guest on Community Conversation on WJRS this week, and said there is a common misconception that the program is only about preparing students to enter the military.
Kiser said that isn’t true, and the program aims to provide students with valuable tools for the future.
