Laker Band earned first in Class A at BOA Southeastern Region competition

The Laker Band competed in the Bands of America Southeastern Region competition in Georgia this past weekend.

The Laker Band earned first place in Class A in the competition. The Lakers earned awards for Best Music, Best Visual, and Best General Effect in Class A.

Of the 25 bands in the competition from across the country, the Lakers finished 13th overall.
