The Laker Soccer team picked up a big win at home last night, defeating the Taylor County Cardinals by a score of 3-1.
Jose Lopez scored a pair of goals for the Lakers in the win, and Luis Lopez added another goal.
Xavi Medrano had two assists and Xavion Russell had one.
The Lakers are back in action tomorrow, taking on Monroe County in a district matchup on the road.
The Lady Laker Volleyball team went on the road last night, falling to Metcalfe County in a district matchup by a score of 3 sets to 1.
The Lady Lakers are 4-1 in district play. They will travel for another district matchup against Clinton County tomorrow.
