Lakers Shut Out Glasgow Following 3-3 Tie with Somerset

The Laker boys soccer team is rolling into the weekend with a 7-3-1 record with a tie and win this week. Tuesday, the Lakers faced Somerset at home coming away with a tie after a nail biter that ended 3-3.

Assists and goals are as follows:

31st minute:  Jose Lopez to Sebastian Betts-Jimenez

34th minute: Andre Perez to Luis Lopez

44th minute:  Rady Mendez to Connor Davidson

 

Thursday the Lakers traveled to Glasgow to face the Scotties and came away victorious.

Luis Lopez passed the ball to Sebastian Betts-Jimenez who finished with a goal in the 3rd minute. After that, the Laker defense and Xavion Russell in goal held the Scotties scoreless, concluding the game at 1-0.

The Laker JV also won both their matches this week.

The Lakers play Franklin-Simpson High School this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at home at Finley Field.
