A Russell County man was arrested in Pulaski County this week following a traffic stop on the Cumberland Parkway.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said 51-year-old Sean Campbell is facing multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance – second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other violations.
Pulaski County authorities say they were conducting an investigation into Campbell and were providing surveillance on the parkway when they spotted Campbell in a Ford F-150 with a license plate registered to a Buick.
During the traffic stop, a search was conducted where officers found more than 100 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a loaded handgun, other drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Campbell was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
