The local waste tire collection event continues today.
Waste tires will be accepted from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the State Highway Garage on Voils Roads off Highway 127.
This event is free of charge thanks to a partnership between the county government and the Kentucky Division of Waste Management.
Truck and passenger tires, lawn tractor, motorcycle, bicycle, and ATV tires will be accepted.
