Storms that moved through Russell and surrounding counties last night caused several power outages.
Power outages were reported in Phelps Acres near the airport as well as outages along Bernard Ridge, Voils Road and Arlis Hale Road. Outages were also reported in the Sano community and near Wolf Creek Dam.
Early this morning, South Kentucky RECC was reporting around 600 customers without power.
After lowering the total number of outages across its service region to just under 1,200 following the tornado this past weekend, South Kentucky RECC reported nearly 5,300 without power this morning across 12 counties.
