Schools, library to serve as sites for summer meal pickup

The Russell County School District will once again be providing meal kits this summer for students and families.

Russell County Schools Director of School Nutrition Jessica Holt gave WJRS News more details about meal kit pickup this summer.

Holt said the seven-day meal kits include items students are familiar with from school.

The first day of meal pickups will be June 11.

Anyone with questions can call the office at 270-866-6300.
