Phipps to be honored at National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial

Fallen Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joshua Phipps will be honored in tonight at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C.

His name will be etched into the memorial during a candlelight vigil held beginning at 7:00 pm this evening. The ceremony also involves reading the names of officers who were killed in the line of duty.

There will be a live stream of the ceremony on Facebook and YouTube.
