Brumett selected for Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute

Russell County High School student Blair Brumett has been selected to participate in this year’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute.

The one-week summer leadership program is hosted by the Center for Rural Development. This year, 24 students from southern and eastern Kentucky were chosen to participate in the program.

The program provides hands-on learning and real-life experiences for student entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into a start-up business.

At the end of the week, students present their ideas to a panel of judges with the winner receiving a scholarship offer to Eastern Kentucky University.
