RCMS Softball has busy weekend

The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Softball team had a busy weekend.

The Lady Lakers started things off Friday night with an 11-0 win over Casey County.

Russell County was led by a strong pitching performance from Allie Bailey, who pitched a 4-inning no hitter and struck out 10 batters.

Kerigan Aaron drove in three runs at the plate on a pair of hits.

On Saturday, the Lady Lakers fell to King Middle School by a score of 6-4. Kinsley Wilson and Tatum Durham each drove in a run with Durham collecting a pair of hits.

The Lady Lakers fell to East Jessamine on Saturday as well by a score of 15-3.

Molly Clark had two hits and drove in a run.

The middle school Lady Lakers host Hart County tonight at 5:30.
