Local gas prices are well below state average.

According to AAA, local gas prices are nearly 10 cents cheaper than state average.

The average price of gas in Russell County comes in at $2.61, while the state average is nearly $2.71.

Local prices are mostly on par with other neighboring counties. Clinton County comes in significantly higher at around $2.79, and Cumberland County is slightly higher at about $2.73.
