Lakers drop home opener to Barren County; on the road at Monroe tonight

The Laker Baseball team dropped its home opener to Barren County Friday night by a score of 4-2.

Ayden McGowan and Mayes Gosser each finished with a hit and an RBI in that game.

The Lakers finished with 6 hits on the day to Barren County’s 4, but had 5 errors compared to 3 for Barren County.

The Lakers will look to get back in the win column tonight when they go on the road for a district matchup with Monroe County, getting underway at 5:30.
