Ridgenet Network Group expanding in Science Hill, adding 20 new jobs

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced a business expansion and investment in neighboring Pulaski County this week.

Ridgenet Network Group – a manufacturer of equipment for emergency vehicles and other components used in law enforcement, fire and EMS – will expand its operation in Science Hill with a $1.2 million investment that will create 20 additional full-time jobs.

The new facility will reportedly allow Ridgenet to triple its production of upfitted vehicles and quadruple its warehouse space.

Ridgenet was founded in 2011 by brothers Eric and Alex Wilson of Pulaski County. The company started as an internet service provider, but expanded into cell phone towers and later into the production of emergency vehicles and other components used by first responders.
