Three people have been arrested in a shooting case in neighboring Pulaski County.
According to reports out of Pulaski County, 49-year-old Asa J. Simpson and 24-year-old Christian L. Helton, both of Somerset, along with 20-year-old Bralyn Greer of Stanford are facing charges following a shooting near the 192 Market in Pulaski County in the early morning hours.
Simpson and Helton are facing an attempted murder charge, while Greer is charged with conspiracy to murder.
Reports are the three suspects were driving in a dark-colored vehicle on KY 192 just before 1:30 local time Monday morning when they reportedly fired shots at another vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle was hit in the shoulder by the bullets, and was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and then to the University of Kentucky.
All three suspects were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
