The dates of the region swim championships have changed, and with Russell County hosting this year’s regional championships, the Russell County Board of Education voted to change the school calendar to accommodate the event.
Russell County is one of only a few sites statewide with the ability to host a region championship, which brings hundreds of visitors into Russell County.
