While several school districts across the state struggle to find school resource officers, that isn’t an issue in Russell County.
Russell County Schools Director of School Safety Jackie Grider spoke to WJRS News and said Russell County is very fortunate to have a school resource officer at each school in the district.
Near the beginning of 2024, it was estimated that more than 40 percent of schools in Kentucky did not have a school resource officer.
