Russell County Schools serve nearly 4,500 meals per day

Feeding Russell County’s students is no small task.

Russell County Schools Director of School Nutrition Jessica Holt spoke to WJRS News about the number of meals the district prepares for local students and the multiple factors they take into consideration when planning and preparing meals.

Holt also spoke about searching for new menu items for Russell County students.

Russell County students will return to the classroom next Wednesday, August 21.
