RCMS Lady Lakers get season underway

The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Basketball teams got their season underway this week.

On Monday, the Lady Lakers dropped 3 games to Southern Middle School. The 6th grade team fell 31-17, 7th grade fell 34-19, and 8th grade fell 29-18.

Last night, the Lady Lakers hosted Campbellsville. The 7th grade team fell 19-9 and 8th grade fell 39-14 to the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Lakers go on the road Thursday to take on Casey County with games getting underway at 5 p.m. CT.
