Pulaski man pleads guilty to 2018 murder

A Pulaski County man has pleaded guilty to a 2018 murder.

David Strong entered a plea of guilty in relation to the 2018 murder of 87-year-old Arlie Owens, who was murdered in May 2018.

Prosecutors initially planned to seek the death penalty against Strong if the case went to trial.

By entering a guilty plea, the recommended sentence is life without the possibility of parole for 25 years.

Official sentencing is set to take place next month.
