The Lake Cumberland District Health Department is warning area residents about a potential phone scam.
The health department said they have reports of people receiving calls from someone posing as a representative of the health department and asking people to complete a survey.
The health department is advising residents of the Lake Cumberland area that these callers are not involved with the health department and should avoid giving out their personal information.
