Finley Field held its first official competition last night, and it played host to Russell County dominance, as the Russell County Lady Laker Soccer team picked up a 13-0 win over McCreary Central as the game was called at halftime due to the mercy rule going into effect.
Freshman Addison Coffey had an impressive varsity debut, scoring 6 goals in the game.
Junior Adriana Thomas wasn’t far behind, finishing the game with 4 goals.
Samantha Hernandez, Madison Weisbrodt, and Marissa Hatchett each scored a goal in the victory as well.
The Lady Lakers are back at home on Thursday, hosting Glasgow at 5:30 p.m.
