The body of a missing Tennessee woman was recovered from Lake Cumberland over the weekend.
According to reports, someone spotted a submerged vehicle at Grider Hill Dock Saturday morning near Albany. Dive crews were able to recover the vehicle with a body inside.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations confirmed the identity of the person found as 69-year-old Roxanne Gallagher from Cumberland County, Tennessee. A Silver Alert was issued for Gallagher on August 2. She was last seen in late June.
Officials said she had a medical condition that could impair her ability to return home without help when the alert was issued.
