Gas prices in Russell County remain lower than most of its neighboring counties.
According to AAA’s gas price tracker, the average price of gas in Russell County sits at $3.30. That’s on par with Adair County, but other neighboring counties are reporting higher prices.
Casey County is slightly higher at $3.33, Cumberland County a little higher at $3.35, and Clinton County slightly higher at $3.37.
Russell County’s neighbors to the east have noticeably higher prices. Pulaski County and Wayne County have an average price of $3.53.
The average price statewide is $3.38.
