A major local road project is now expected to get underway next week.
Signs on U.S. 127 in Russell Springs now indicate the local road project will get underway on Monday, April 1.
The project includes adding turning lanes at several intersections along U.S. 127 as well as KY 619.
Transportation officials are targeting a completion date in the fall.
