RCMS Baseball defeats Monroe County

The Russell County Middle School Laker Baseball team defeated Monroe County last night.

In the A game, the Lakers won 14-2 in three innings over the Falcons.

Raylan McAninch had a big game, finishing with a pair of hits and driving in 4 runs. Will Coffey, Eyan Propes, Holden Hadley, and Parker Brumley each drove in a run as well.

Brody Terry got the win on the mound, giving up 2 runs on 3 hits and striking out 7 of 12 batters.

The B team also picked up a victory, with a 5-0 win over the Falcons.

Ethan Hart got the win on the mound, and Tahlon Luttrell drove in a pair of runs.
