Lake Cumberland State Resort Park maintenance superintendent recognized by state park system

Lake Cumberland State Resort Park Maintenance Superintendent David Smith received a special award this week.

Smith received the Albert Alderson Award this week. The award is presented annually to an outstanding maintenance employee within the Kentucky State Park system.

The award is named after Albert Alderson, who was a key member of the Kentucky State Parks Maintenance Department until his death in 2019.
