As Wayne Ackerman makes the move to take over as the superintendent of Clinton County Schools, a familiar face will serve as the interim principal at Russell County Middle School.
Keith Ellis will take over as the school’s interim principal.
Ellis currently serves as the Russell County Middle School boys basketball coach and has served the Russell County School system in a number of roles in his career as an educator, administrator, and coach.
