One Killed In Somerset Explosion Sunday Morning

An explosion in Somerset Sunday morning, believed to be related to fireworks, has left one person dead.

Authorities say the explosion occurred at a garage, near highway 27, and shook the neighborhood near Hidden Crest Drive in Somerset.

Officials say a garage, located  behind a residence,  was destroyed by the explosion and a large amount of debris was spread in a  nearby field.

WJRS News is told 43-year-old Christopher Fineberg was killed.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is investigating the cause of the explosion.
