Several Arrested Over the Weekend

Possession of controlled substances, mainly methamphetamine, continues to be a leading cause for arrests locally.

37 year old Kristi Weston of Russell Springs was arrested around 2:00 a.m. Sunday by Russell County Deputy Barber and charged with possession of methamphetamine, second offense, driving on a suspended license, and several traffic related offenses.

Friday night around 5 o’clock, Clinton County Sheriff Rick Marcum arrested 43 year old Rebecca Thompson of Albany and charged her with Possession of Methamphetamine, third offense, and misdemeanor offenses.

Later Friday night, Marcum arrested 27 year old Bailey White of Albany and charged her with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Wanton Endangerment, first degree, also a felony.

All three were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
