The Russell County Fiscal Court met last night, taking up several items on the agenda.
The court approved the purchase of a vehicle for the coroner’s office, which has been needed for several months according to Russell County Coroner Mark Coots.
Judge Executive Randy Marcum spoke about the county approving the purchase of the vehicle.
The court also approved a new affiliation agreement with the Russell County Rescue Squad.
The new agreement aims to help the rescue squad be eligible for more grant funds.
