The Halloween Havoc event at the Lake Cumberland Dragway had a great turnout over the weekend.
Rain hampered the first evening with races being postponed, but event organizers say attendance was roughly 3,000 people.
Tourism Director Danielle Wilson told WJRS News several local hotels and the state park had high occupancy numbers due to the number of visitors coming into Russell County, and live videos from the races had nearly a million views on social media.
Feedback from the event has been positive and local officials are hoping to have similar events a couple times each year.
