The Russell County 12-14 year olds performed well at a recent shooting sports competition in Adair County.
Here’s how Russell County’s team members performed.
Alyssa Wethington won first place in the target recurve archery competition.
Sarah Grider won first second place in the target recurve archery and second in the recurve/longbow archery.
Brayden Popplewell won second place in the BB as well as first place in the .22 target rifle competition and the .22 sport rifle.
Andrea Russell won first place in the black powder flintlock rifle and blackpowder pistol, and second place in the black powder percussion rifle.
Daniel Hernandez won third place in the .22 pistol.
