Local gas prices continue to climb, with the average price of gas in Russell County sitting at around $3.54 according to AAA.
The average price locally has jumped 14 cents over the last week.
Russell County has one of the lowest average prices in the Lake Cumberland area though.
Casey County is on par with Russell County, while Pulaski, Wayne and Cumberland counties sit at $3.57 and Clinton and Adair counties at $3.59.
The average price in Kentucky sits at $3.58, more than 30 cents higher than one month ago.
