Laker Soccer wins 6-0 over Allen County-Scottsville

The Russell County High School Boys’ soccer team was victorious over Allen-County Scottsville.

Leading the charge for the Lakers in the first half was Connor Holmes playing the ball to Xavier Betts-Jimenez for the 1st goal.

The Lakers continued their momentum and scored another goal before the end of the half with Braydon Bautista putting the ball in the back of the net and Elijah Grayum assisting.

In the second half, Dawson Bradshaw connected with Taven Roy-Foley to make it 3-0.

Then shortly after, Bradshaw and Roy-Foley connected again, making it 4-0. Taven continued his momentum and finished a left footed shot after a steal in Allen-County’s defensive third.

And history repeated itself with Connor Holmes once again connecting with Xavier Betts-Jimenez to close out the match, 6-0.

The Lakers are now 2-1-1 on the season and are scheduled to take on Taylor County this evening.
