The Laker Soccer team lost a close one to Taylor County Tuesday night in the Kentucky 2A Tournament.
The Lakers fell short by a score of 2-1, with the Cardinals scoring the winning goal with about five minutes remaining in the match.
Taven Roy-Foley scored the lone goal for the Lakers, assisted by Xavi Medrano.
Roy-Foley and Dawson Bradshaw were named to the All-Tournament team.
The Lakers are back in action on Thursday in the Scotties Classic in Glasgow, taking on Hart County.
