The Russell County Laker Soccer teams went undefeated at the Scotties Classic in Glasgow over the weekend.
The high school team finished with 2 wins and a draw in three contests over the weekend, defeating Russellville 3-1 and Grayson County 3-2 while playing Hart County to a scoreless draw.
Against Russellville, Taven Roy-Foley, Dawson Bradshaw, and Xavi Medrano each scored a goal and Will Pratt had an assist.
Against Grayson County, Roy-Foley scored a pair of goals and Will Pratt added another, while Xavier Betts-Jimenez had a pair of assists.
Goalkeeper Xavion Russell had 22 saves compared to 3 goals allowed over the course of the weekend.
The middle school Laker Soccer team also played in the Scotties Classic, finishing 3-0 on the weekend, capping the weekend with a 6-1 win over Franklin-Simpson.
