The Russell County Laker Golf team picked up a victory in a match against Cumberland County on Tuesday.
The Lakers picked up an 8-stroke victory, shooting a 162 on the day compared to 170 for Cumberland County.
Noah McMillin led the Lakers with a 38, followed by Daylon Blevins and Gabe Browning each with a 40.
Kole Rixon shot a 44 and Nate Aaron shot a 45.
In JV action, Josiah Dudgeon shot a 43, Alden Brumley shot a 44, Ayden Goch shot a 48, Landon Bryant shot a 53, and Brody Terry shot a 58.
The varsity team is back in action this weekend on Saturday at Eagles Nest and Sunday at Monticello Country Club.
