The Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team picked up a win in its season opener last night, defeating Washington County 3 sets to 0 in a Kentucky 2A, Section 4 tournament matchup.
The Lady Lakers are scheduled to be back at home Thursday for a district matchup against Metcalfe County.
That match is scheduled to get underway at 5 p.m.
