Last night was another big district win for the Russell County Lady Laker Soccer team.
The Lady Lakers defeated Monroe County 11-1, as Adriana Thomas scored 6 goals, Madison Weisbrodt scored 4, and Marissa Hatchett added another in the win.
Weisbrodt assisted on 6 goals and Liz Evans had 8 saves in the win.
The Lady Lakers are now 2-0 in district competition and 5-2 overall.
In JV action, the Lady Lakers came out on top 4-2.
Bella Blakey scored a pair of goals, and Ferrah Polston and Mykaela Bevans each added a goal as well.
Jasmine Bennett had six saves in the win.
The Lady Lakers are back in action this Friday at home, hosting Casey County at 5 p.m.
