The Russell County Board of Education voted unanimously at last night’s meeting to purchase new security cameras that will cover all of the schools and buildings within the district.
The board is using federal stimulus funds for the purchase and Superintendent Michael Ford said the cameras are much-needed and will serve a great benefit for the school district.
